Higher Ground Family Learning Center
Not sure what Higher Ground is? Higher Ground Learning Center is a fun, free activity for the whole family and is designed to offer encouragement, support, and a chance to make new friends! Classes are offered once a week and continue for 8 weeks. Join us for a home cooked dinner and conversation, followed by the class of your choice. Kids (4-11) and teens each have their own exciting program. A staffed nursery is provided. At the end of the evening, teens and adults may “shop” at the Higher Ground Store, using points earned in class. Kids have their own special shopping table. Classes may include: parenting, stress reduction, healthy lifestyle, financial fitness, gardening, crafting or life skills. There are no income guidelines to meet.
Classes offered for both areas this fall may include: Parenting, Relationship Building, Women’s & Men’s Bible Studies, Financial Fitness, Healthy Lifestyles/Nutrition, Crafting, and Job Skills.
A Nursery is provided for children 0-2 years old and classes are offered for students through high school.

SIGN UP FOR THE SPRING SESSIONS!
Running in April and May of 2021
Due to the recent surge of COVID-19 cases in the Cadillac Area, the difficult decision was made to cancel the Spring session of Higher Ground which was to be held on Tuesday nights beginning April 6th at First Baptist in Cadillac. Though there is disappointment in the short-term, there is great anticipation for a Fall session which would be able to host a full complement of ministries for children, youth, and adults. We thank you for your understanding and support in these challenging times!
The Evart program will proceed as planned. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us.
