Higher Ground Family Learning Center
Not sure what Higher Ground is? Higher Ground Learning Center is a fun, free activity for the whole family and is designed to offer encouragement, support, and a chance to make new friends! Classes are offered once a week and continue for 8 weeks. Join us for a home cooked dinner and conversation, followed by the class of your choice. Kids (4-11) and teens each have their own exciting program. A staffed nursery is provided. At the end of the evening, teens and adults may “shop” at the Higher Ground Store, using points earned in class. Kids have their own special shopping table. Classes may include: parenting, stress reduction, healthy lifestyle, financial fitness, gardening, crafting or life skills. There are no income guidelines to meet.
Classes offered for both areas this fall may include: Parenting, Relationship Building, Women’s & Men’s Bible Studies, Financial Fitness, Healthy Lifestyles/Nutrition, Crafting, and Job Skills.
A Nursery is provided for children 0-2 years old and classes are offered for students through high school.
We can always use more volunteers to help with this great ministry. If you are interested in volunteering at Higher Ground Family Learning Center or for more information please contact Deb Booher at Love INC 779-1888.
